A <sup>13</sup>C-labelling was introduced into each individual carbon of the recently discovered sestermobaraenes by the enzymatic conversion of the correspondingly <sup>13</sup>C-labelled isoprenyl diphosphate precursors with the sestermobaraene synthase from <i>Streptomyces mobaraensis</i>.
