<i>Scurrula parasitica</i> Linn. is a hemiparasitic shrub distributed in southern China and Southeast Asian countries. Here, we report and characterize the complete plastid genome sequence of <i>S. parasitica</i> in an effort to provide genomic resources useful for the phylogenetic studies for Santalales.
