In this paper, we obtained and characterized the complete chloroplast genome sequence of a unique moth orchid, <i>Phalaenopsis lowii</i>. The total plastid genome size is 146,834 bp, containing a large single copy (LSC) region (84,469 bp) and a small single-copy region (10,477 bp) that were separated by two inverted repeats (IRs) regions (25,944 bp).
