Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are induced by exogenous organisms including extraintestinal pathogenic such as <i>Escherichia coli</i> (ExPEC), <i>Proteus mirabilis</i> and <i>Klebsiella pneumonia</i>, which are closely related. These organisms can colonize in the urinary tract and cause UTIs.
