<i>Gentianopsis paludosa</i> (Mum.) Ma is an important species in Tibetan folk medicine, but its wild populations are shrinking roughly due to the increasing demand for it. <i>Gentianopsis paludosa</i> is presently at risk of over-exploitation, so it needs urgent conservation. Here, we report the complete sequence of the chloroplast genome of <i>G. paludosa</i>.
