Bone degradation of the condylar surface is seen in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJ OA); however, the initial changes occur in the subchondral bone. This cross-sectional study was performed to evaluate 23 subchondral bone imaging biomarkers for TMJ OA.
