<i>Cladosporium</i> is a monophyletic genus in <i>Cladosporiaceae</i> (<i>Cladosporiales</i>, <i>Dothideomycetes</i>) whose species are mainly found as saprobes and endophytes, but it also includes fungi pathogenic for plants, animals and human.
