Dozens of Cu zeolites with MOR, FAU, BEA, FER, CHA and MFI frameworks are tested for direct oxidation of CH<sub>4</sub> to CH<sub>3</sub>OH using H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> as oxidant.
