The activation of Wnt/β-catenin pathway plays a pivotal role in promoting renal fibrosis. The activation of Wnt/β-catenin pathway relies on the binding of Wnts to Frizzled receptors on cell membrane. However, the factor regulating Wnts production remains unclear.
