Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a highly prevalent condition with major neurocognitive and cardiovascular health effects. Positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy prevents the collapse of the pharyngeal airway to improve hypoxemia, hypercapnia, and sleep fragmentation caused by OSA.
