<i>Sinocyclocheilus lingyunensis</i> is endemic to Youjiang River in Guangxi, Southwestern China. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of <i>S. lingyunensis</i> was sequenced. It was determined to be 16,572 bases. The overall base composition was 31.9% A, 25.3% T, 26.9% C, 15.9% G with 42.8% GC content. The nucleotide sequence data of 12 heavy-strand protein-coding genes of <i>S. lingyunensis</i> and other 16 <i>Sinocyclocheilus</i> species were used for phylogenetic analyses. Trees ...[more]
