Submerged steel pipes are susceptible to corrosion due to long exposure under harsh corrosive conditions. Here, we investigated the reliability and effectiveness of nonwoven zinc(II) oxide-polyvinylidene fluoride (ZnO-PVDF) nanocomposite fiber textiles as an embedded corrosion sensor.
