Computational methods were used to filter two datasets (> 8,000 compounds) based on two criteria: higher binding affinity for M<sup>PRO</sup> than cocrystallized inhibitor and binding interactions with M<sup>PRO</sup> catalytic dyad (Cys145 and His41).
