Traditional methods of detecting <i>Chlamydia pecorum</i> in tissue samples such as polymerase chain reaction or cell culture are laborious and costly. We evaluated the use of a previously developed <i>C. pecorum</i> LAMP assay using minimally processed ovine samples.
