Brazilian traditional medicine has explored the antiviral properties of many plant extracts, including those from the Brazilian pepper tree, <i>Schinus terebinthifolius</i>. In the present study, we investigated the chemical composition and anti-mayaro virus (MAYV) activity of <i>S. terebinthifolius</i> fruit.
