Lactoferrin-binding protein B (LbpB) is a lipoprotein present on the surface of <i>Neisseria</i> that has been postulated to serve dual functions during pathogenesis in both iron acquisition from lactoferrin (Lf), and in providing protection against the cationic antimicrobial peptide lactoferricin (Lfcn).
