<i>Thermus thermophilus</i> trigger factor (<i>Tt</i>TF) is a zinc-dependent molecular chaperone whose folding-arrest activity is regulated by Zn<sup>2+</sup>. However, little is known about the mechanism of zinc-dependent regulation of the <i>Tt</i>TF activity.
