Hydrogen peroxide (H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>) is responsible for numerous damages when overproduced, and its detection is crucial for a better understanding of H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>-mediated signaling in physiological and pathological processes.
