COVID-19 mRNA vaccines delay the onset of breakthrough infections with less radiographic abnormalities.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This retrospective study of incoming travelers with COVID-19 showed that individuals immunized by mRNA vaccines had significantly longer post-vaccination interval (median: 30.5 days) to breakthrough infection, lower WBC and LDH on admission, and less radiographic abnormalities than those immunized by inactivated virus vaccine who paradoxically had lower respiratory viral load.
