Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent cause of dementia<sup>1</sup>. Although there is no effective treatment for AD, passive immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies against amyloid beta (Aβ) is a promising therapeutic strategy<sup>2,3</sup>.
