Curvature-sensing mechanisms assist proteins in executing particular actions on various membrane organelles. Here, we investigate the functional specificity of curvature-sensing amphipathic motifs in Caenorhabditis elegans through the study of endophilin, an endocytic protein for synaptic vesicle recycling.
