Hydroxylamine nitrate and hydrazine nitrate are dangerous explosives and toxic chemicals. Catalytic decomposition is an efficient way for disposal of these chemicals. In the current work, a Ru/ZSM-5 catalyst has been fabricated and evaluated for the decomposition of hydroxylamine nitrate and hydrazine nitrate in 1.0 mol L<sup>-1</sup> HNO<sub>3</sub>.
