Project description:The increasing awareness of environmental challenges has significantly influenced consumer behavior, with sustainable products, particularly sustainable clothing, becoming a top priority for Generation Z consumers. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing Generation Z's purchase intentions toward sustainable clothing in Vietnam, guided by the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) frameworks. Specifically, it examines the effects of green perceived value, green perceived quality, perceived price, social influence, product design, environmental concern, and environmental knowledge on purchase intentions. The study also explores the mediating roles of environmental attitude and product attitude in these relationships. The research employed a quantitative approach, using a Likert scale questionnaire to gather data from 641 Vietnamese Generation Z consumers. The study utilized exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the data. The results revealed that all proposed hypotheses were supported, indicating that all factors significantly impact environmental attitude and product attitude, which, in turn, influence purchase intention. The results emphasize the strong mediating role of environmental attitude and product attitude, suggesting that consumers with positive attitudes toward the environment and products are more likely to intend to purchase sustainable clothing. This research provides valuable insights into the psychological and contextual factors that influence Generation Z's sustainable consumption behavior. For marketers, these findings underscore the need to promote transparency in sustainable practices, emphasize high product quality and appealing designs, and engage this demographic through community involvement and authentic sustainability efforts.

Project description:The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has had an immense impact on humanity in every aspect of life. Governments around the world have mandated movement restrictions, including in the Moroccan government, in which unfortunately the pandemic continues to propagate and causes serious problems for public health and economic activities in the Kingdom. As a major factor in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, the Moroccan government has undertaken major efforts to ensure the availability of the COVID-19 vaccines for all citizens. These valuable efforts resulted in initiation of the vaccination campaign, which started on February 14, 2021. As vaccination was voluntary, identifying the factors promoting citizen's intention to take the vaccine against COVID-19 may help government to take additional precautions to address the propagation of COVID-19, and ensure a return to normal life. Hence, this data article aims to identify factors influencing the Moroccan citizens to get a vaccine for COVID-19. The data were collected using an online questionnaire among Moroccan citizens. In addition, the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling technique was adopted in order to analyze the collected dataset.

Project description:Not least from an ecological and health perspective, it can be posited that a broader part of consumers should practice sustainable diets. People who are already willing to do so are often confronted with the intention-behavior gap, caused by a range of internal and external factors. To eliminate these barriers requires a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of these factors and their interplay. Therefore, a think aloud study with 20 adult German participants was conducted to explore the four chosen external factors of availability, education, advertising and price. Furthermore, questionnaires for all four factors were handed out and a follow-up interview was conducted to gain additional qualitative data. Results show that these four external factors seem to have a major impact on the intention-behavior relation. According to the participants all factors interact in some way with other internal and external factors, making practicing sustainable diets a complex activity. In conclusion, the four external factors availability, education, advertising and price need to be addressed by various stakeholders within our food systems in order to move forward in the process of making sustainable diets practicable and sustainable food systems firmly established.

Project description:This paper presents the data that estimate the linkages between perceived regulatory support, empathy, moral obligation, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived social support, and social entrepreneurial intention among Vietnamese students. The scales were adopted from previous studies to develop the questionnaires utilizing a five-Likert scale. The sample collected from 685 undergraduate students from universities in Vietnam. A quantitative approach was utilised to examine the value of data. Specifically, some descriptive statistics was utilized to show the respondents' profiles and characteristics of variables. Cronbach' alpha, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the reliability and validity of constructs before estimating path coefficients via structural equational modelling (SEM).

Project description:As a currently emerging technology and an emerging intelligent mode of transport, autonomous vehicles (AVs) with lots of potential advantages need attention in terms of acceptability of their users. This research incorporates three psychological factors of perceived trust, perceived value, and perceived enjoyment into the technology acceptance model, and explores the influence of these factors on the potential use intention of AVs users. In this study, the questionnaire data from 232 participants were analysed, and the structural equation model test study model was adopted, and nine hypotheses proposed in this study were verified. The results show that perceived enjoyment, perceived trust, perceived usefulness, and attitude have a direct positive impact on users' usage intentions. Perceived value, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use have a direct positive impact on user attitudes. In addition, perceived ease of use has also been shown to directly affect perceived usefulness. This study constructs and demonstrates a model of autonomous vehicle acceptance. This model can be used for user acceptance research of unmanned vehicles. The research expands the theory of technology acceptance model and its applicable fields, and enriches the theory of user research on unmanned vehicles. This study provides predictors of AVs acceptance for AVs designers, automakers, automotive policy makers, and related practitioners. Help them make actionable autonomous vehicle-related decisions to promote high-acceptance autonomous vehicle design and user intent for autonomous vehicles.

Project description:Recent changes in the medical paradigm highlight the importance of patient-centered communication. However, because of the lack of awareness of dental clinics and competency of medical personnel, the quality of medical services in terms of the communication between doctors and patients has not improved. This study analyzed the impact of health communication and medical service quality, service value, and patient satisfaction on the intention to revisit dental clinics. The study participants were outpatients treated at 10 dental clinics in Seoul. The research data were collected using a questionnaire during visits to these dental clinics from December 1 to December 30, 2016. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed (60 copies to each clinics) and 570 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis. The influence of the factors was determined using structural equation modeling. The factors influencing service value were reliability (β = 0.364, p < 0.001), expertise (β = 0.319, p < 0.001), communication by doctors (β = 0.224, p < 0.001), and tangibility (β = 0.136, p < 0.05). In addition, the factors influencing patient satisfaction were reliability (β = 0.258, p < 0.001), tangibility (β = 0.192, p < 0.001), communication by doctors (β = 0.163, p < 0.001), and expertise (β = 0.122, p < 0.01). Further, service value (β = 0.438, p < 0.001) raised patient satisfaction, which was found to influence the intention to revisit dental clinics (β = 0.383, p < 0.001). Providing accurate medical services to inpatients based on smooth communication between doctors and patients improves patient satisfaction. In addition, doctors can build long-term relations with patients by increasing patients' intention to revisit through patient-oriented communication.

Project description:Although microenterprises constitute a significant part of Morocco's economy, they encounter financing difficulties which represent the biggest obstacles to their growth, therefore, Islamic financial institutions can take a prominent role in fostering financial inclusion in Morocco. Accordingly, this article aims to explore the determinants of intention to adopt Islamic financing in micro-business. For this purpose, this study utilizes data collected from a selected sample of Moroccan micro-business owner-managers using face-to-face interviews during March 2021. The results from the partial least squares analysis indicate that religious obligation and Islamic financing reputation positively affect attitude towards Islamic financing. Findings also reveal the positive and significant influence of subjective norms, attitude towards Islamic financing, and perceived behavioral control on intention to adopt Islamic financing.•This method article can be used to explore the antecedent of Islamic financing adoption in micro-business.•Access to this method article may help Islamic bank managers to set up marketing policies in order to strengthen the micro-business owners' intention to adopt Islamic financing.

Project description:BackgroundSettlement in a village and being native is one of the special conditions for choosing to be a health care worker as they must be accessible day and night and provide people with health services when needed. The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting health care workers' intention to remain in villages covered by Jundishapur University, Ahvaz, Iran.MethodsThis is a cross-sectional study in 2019. The total number of health workers working at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, Iran was 1034, amongst whom 280 individuals participated in this study. The data collection tool was a questionnaire consisted of two parts, in the first part of which there were 11 questions on personal information of the participants. In the second part, a total of six measures (physical, social, educational and cultural, occupational, welfare, personal and family) were used to examine the factors affecting the health workers' intention to remain in rural areas.ResultsThe results of this study showed that the current residence of 55% of the health workers was villages while 45% of them lived in urban areas. The results indicated that there was a significant relationship between physical, social, educational and cultural, occupational, welfare, personal and family factors and the health workers' intention to remain in rural areas. Besides, female HCWs were more affected by personal and family factors compared to the male participants.ConclusionIncreasing the quality and paying more attention to physical, social, educational and cultural, occupational, welfare, personal and family factors can cause health workers to remain longer in rural areas.

Project description:BackgroundWidespread vaccination coverage is essential for reducing the COVID-19 havoc and regarded as a crucial tool in restoring normal life on university campuses. Therefore, our research aimed to understand the intention to be vaccinated for COVID-19 among Pakistani university students.MethodsThis cross-sectional study was conducted in five administrative units of Pakistan, i.e., Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We obtained data from 2,865 university students between 17th January and 2nd February, 2021, using a semi-structured and self-administered questionnaire. We used Stata (version 16.1, StataCorp LLC) for data management and analysis.ResultsThe majority (72.5%) of our respondents were willing to take COVID-19 vaccine. The current level of education had a statistically significant relationship with the intention to be vaccinated (p < 0.05). Respondents answered 11 questions encompassing five different domains of the Health Belief Model (HBM). All the items of HBM were significantly associated with the positive intention towards receiving the vaccine (p < 0.05). We conducted a multivariable logistic regression analysis to assess the relative contribution of different factors towards the intention to receive COVID-19 vaccine. Multiple factors such as belief that vaccination should be mandatory for everyone (AOR: 3.99, 95% CI: 3.20-4.98) and willingness to take vaccine even if it is not free (AOR: 3.91, 95% CI: 3.18-4.81) were observed to be associated with high odds of showing willingness to be vaccinated against COVID-19.ConclusionMost of our study participants intended to take vaccines based on their belief regarding the high effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine. But as rumor-mongers are generating and spreading conspiracy theories daily, the health department and policymakers need to undertake evidence-based campaigns through electronic and social media to ensure expected countrywide vaccination coverage. In this case, our study findings can serve as a foundation for them to ensure mass vaccination coverage among university students, which is crucial now to reopen the dormitories and restore everyday life on campuses.

Project description:This paper presents a survey dataset on factors influencing farmers' intention to produce organic farming in Hanoi, Vietnam. The survey was designed based on the theoretical integration model of theory of planned behavior (TPB) and norm activation model (NAM) including 7 factors, 33 items inherited from previous studies to collect information of the respondents and 5 other items used to find out the respondent's characteristic include: gender, age, educational qualification, farming experience and farming annual income. Questionnaires were sent directly to farmers at their home or farm in October 2019. 318 valid questionnaires were collected for the study of intentions for organic farming. The dataset was obtained as a reference source for later studies on organic farming development and organic farming production intent/behavior promotion.
