Stereotaxic intracerebral cannula implantation for neuroactive agent administration is a wide-spread method for chronic experiments requiring bypassing the blood-brain barrier in rodents. However, commercially available cannula are bulky and may interfere with animal movement or lead to their dislodging during grooming.
