Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) is a kind of primary osteoporosis that is characterized by decreased bone density and strength. Berbamine is a nonbasic quaternary benzylisoquinoline plant alkaloid that has been widely used in the clinic to treat leukopenia in China.
