Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), seriously threatens human life and health. The correct folding and polymerization of the receptor-binding domain (RBD) protein of coronavirus in Escherichia coli may reduce the cost of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines.
