Eighty-five percent of the studies of patients with congenital hypothyroidism (CH) treated with Levothyroxine (L-T<sub>4</sub>) report neuropsychological sequelae throughout life. In neonates and infants, there is a deficit in sensorimotor skills (impaired balance).
