N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (APAP)-induced liver damage is associated with upregulation of Interleukin-11 (IL11), which is thought to stimulate <i>IL6ST</i> (gp130)-mediated STAT3 activity in hepatocytes, as a compensatory response.
