<i>Aspergillus flavus (A. flavus)</i> is a postharvest fungus, causing pitaya fruit decay and limiting pitaya value and shelf life. However, safer and more efficient methods for preventing <i>A. flavus</i> contamination for pitaya fruit remain to be investigated.
