Although cystic fibrosis (CF) is recognized as a monogenic disease, due to variants within the <i>CFTR</i> (<i>Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Regulator</i>) gene, an extreme clinical heterogeneity is described among people with CF (pwCF).
