Ion mobility spectrometry/mass spectrometry (IMS/MS) is widely used to study various levels of protein structure. Here, we review the current state of affairs in <i>tandem</i>-trapped ion mobility spectrometry/mass spectrometry (<i>t</i>TIMS/MS).
