ABSTRACT: Currently, only limited knowledge is available about the genetic diversity of the hypervirulent clonal complex 1 (CC1) of Listeria monocytogenes from Asia. In this study, we report the draft genome sequence of an L. monocytogenes CC1 strain (SNU3) from Seoul, South Korea.

Here, we performed whole-genome sequencing of L. monocytogenes strain F4244 (serotype 4b) using Illumina sequencing. The strains were isolated in 2015 from ready-to-eat mixed greens in Germany.
