Benign bone lesions may occasionally be incidentally detected on radiographs and are also increasingly found on CT or MRI performed for other clinical indications. Although mostly asymptomatic or associated with minor symptoms, these lesions may simulate true pathological lesions, causing problems in diagnosis.
