Association of Candida with Oral Submucous Fibrosis: A systematic review and meta-analysis


ABSTRACT: Candida has been found to be associated with several oral potentially malignant disorders and may play a crucial role in their transformation to oral cancer. Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is one such lesion with a higher prevalence of Candida in the oral cavity.
