Genome-wide regulatory deterioration impedes adaptive responses to stress in inbred populations of Drosophila melanogaster
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Species: Drosophila melanogaster. We established 20 inbred lines (I1-I20) and three control lines (C1,C2,C3). Eggs were transferred in groups of 20 to vials (n = 40), which were then distributed to two developmental temperatures. The egg-to-adult viability was estimated from the total number of emerged flies from each vial.
