Discovery of antitumor lectins from rainforest tree root transcriptomes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Glycans are multi-branched sugars that are displayed from lipids and proteins. Herein, we report a novel glycan-binding Lectin protein (ML6) derived from the rainforest tree root. The ML6 was able to bind specifically to the glycans as identified by the glycan array reported here.
