The 5'-terminal palindrome of the ADV-G strain of Aleutian mink disease parvovirus (ADV) was molecularly cloned and sequenced. A full-length molecular clone of ADV-G, denoted pXVB, was then constructed. When this clone was transfected into cell cultures, infectious ADV could be rescued.
