N,N-Diethyl-N'-phenyl-acetyl-thio-urea.

ABSTRACT: The title thio-urea mol-ecule, C(13)H(18)N(2)OS, adopts a folded conformation due to the steric hindrance of the two ethyl groups and the acetyl group. In the crystal structure, the acetyl O atom is not involved in hydrogen bonding, but inter-molecular N-H?S hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
