The dihedral angles between adjacent phenyl rings and phenol-containing planes are 85.27 (19) and 91.38 (18)°. In the crystal structure, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect mol-ecules into a two-dimensional network.

Project description:The title compound, C(16)H(14)N(4), features an aromatic ring with two 2,2'-dicyano-propyl residues in positions 1 and 3, which are located above and below the ring plane. The two residues differ in their conformation with respect to the aromatic ring: whereas one of the C(meth-yl)-C-C(methyl-ene)-C(aromatic) torsion angles is gauche [68.93?(12)°], the other one is fully staggered [177.63?(9)°]. The crystal structure is stabilized by C-H?N hydrogen-bonding inter-actions.

In the crystal structure, centrosymmetrically related mol-ecules form a dimer through C-H⋯π inter-molecular inter-actions.

Project description:The methyl-substituted imidazolidine ring of the title compound, C24H26N2O2, adopts an envelope conformation with the N atom adjacent to the methyl-ene group as the flap. The meth-yl-ethyl-ene fragment in this ring is disordered over two positions with an occupancy ratio of 0.899?(4):0.101?(4). The hy-droxy-benzyl groups are inclined at 71.57?(15) and 69.97?(19)° to the mean plane of major disorder component of the heterocyclic ring with an inter-planar angle between the two hy-droxy-benzyl groups of 66.00?(5)°. The phenyl substit-uent approaches a nearly perpendicular orientation relative to the mean plane of the imidazolidine ring, making a dihedral angle of 75.60?(12)°. This conformation is stabilized by two intra-molecular O-H?N bonds, which generate S(6) ring motifs.

Project description:The title mol-ecule, C(17)H(16)N(4), is a bis-indazole crystallized in the rare 2H-tautomeric form. Indazole heterocycles are connected by a propane C(3) chain, and the mol-ecule is placed on a general position, in contrast to the analogous compound with a central C(2) ethane bridge, which was previously found to be placed on an inversion center in the same space group. In the title mol-ecule, indazole rings make a dihedral angle of 60.11?(7)°, and the bridging alkyl chain displays a trans conformation, resulting in a W-shaped mol-ecule. In the crystal, mol-ecules inter-act weakly through ?-? contacts between inversion-related pyrazole rings, with a centroid-centroid separation of 3.746?(2)?Å.

Project description:In the title compound, {[Cu(C(7)H(8)N(4)S(4))(4)](ClO(4))(2)}(n), the Cu(II) atom, occupying a crystallographic inversion centre, is six-coordinated by six N atoms of three symmetry-related 2,2'-(propane-1,3-diyldithio)bis-(1,3,4-thia-diazole) (L) ligands in a slightly distorted octa-hedral geometry. The ligand L adopts two kinds of coordination modes in the crystal structure; one is a monodentate coordination mode and serves to complete the octa-hedral coordination of the Cu atom and the other is an N:N'-bidentate bridging mode in a trans configuration, bridging Cu atoms via translation symmetry along the b axis into a chain structure. The perchlorate ions serve as acceptors for inter-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bonds, which link the chains into a three-dimensional network.
