Project description:In the title compound, C(35)H(32)N(4)O(4), the pyrazole ring forms a dihedral angle of 15.04?(8)° with the adjacent pyrimidine ring. The pyrimidine ring forms dihedral angles of 9.95?(8) and 1.86?(7)° with its adjacent meth-oxy-substituted benzene rings, whereas the equivalent angles are 80.24?(9) and 11.55?(9)° for the pyrazole ring and its adjacent benzene rings. The crystal packing features ?-? inter-actions, the centroid-centroid distance between the pyrimidine and methoxyphenyl rings being 3.604?(1)?Å. The pyrazole ring is nearly planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.020?(3)?Å for the -CH(2)- carbon.

Project description:The title compound, [Co(C(10)H(10)BF(6)N(4))(C(15)H(13)BF(9)N(6))], is a neutral Co(II) complex which contains one each of the anionic ligands, bis-(3-trifluoro-methyl-5-methyl-pyrazol-1-yl)borate (Bp) and tris-(3-trifluoro-methyl-5-methyl-pyrazol-1-yl)borate (Tp). A distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry results from ligation of an H atom, which is part of an agostic B-H?Co inter-action (H?Co = 2.17?Å), and by five imine N atoms, two from a Bp ligand and three from a Tp ligand. In the crystal, mol-ecules form layers parallel to the (10) planes, and the layers are linked along the a axis by C-H?F hydrogen bonds. An intra-molecular C-H?F inter-action also occurs.

E66, m506-m507], which contains one each of the monoanionic ligands, bis-[5-methyl-3-(trifluoro-meth-yl)pyrazol-1-yl]borate (Bp) and tris-[5-methyl-3-(trifluoro-meth-yl)pyrazol-1-yl]borate (Tp). A distorted octahedral coordination geometry of the Co(II) atom results from ligation of an H atom, which is part of an agostic B-H⋯Co inter-action [H⋯Co = 2.12 (3) Å], and by five imine N atoms, two from a Bp ligand and three from a Tp ligand. Weak intra- and inter-molecular C-F⋯π inter-actions with F⋯centroid distances ranging from 3.025 (4) to 3.605 (4) Å are observed.

Project description:The title compound, C(35)H(30)N(2)S(3), has been synthesized by a solvent-free reaction. The mol-ecule exhibits an E,E configuration, the benzene rings and pyrimidine rings being located on the opposite sides of the C=C bonds. The centroid-centroid separation of 3.5808 (17) Å indicates the existence of π-π stacking between nearly parallel pyrimidine and benzene rings of adjacent mol-ecules.

Project description:The reaction of 2,4-dichloro-5-(trifluoro-meth-yl)pyrimidine with 1H-pyrazole gave two structural isomers in a 1:1 ratio that were separable by chromatography. The title compound, C(8)H(4)ClF(3)N(4), was the first product to elute and was characterized in the present study to confirm that substitution by the pyrazolyl group had occurred at position 4. The mol-ecule (with the exception of the F atoms) is essentially planar, with a mean deviation of 0.034?Å from the least-squares plane through all non-H and non-F atoms. The bond angles in the pyrimidine ring show a pronounced alternating pattern with three angles, including those at the two N atoms being narrower, and the remaining three wider than 120°.

Project description:In the title compound, C(7)H(14)N(6), the amine groups of the two methyl-hydrazino substituents are orientated in the opposite direction to the methyl substituent at the 2-position of the pyrimidine ring. The mol-ecule is almost planar with only the two amine N atoms lying substanti-ally out of the mean plane of the pyrimidine ring [by 0.1430?(2) and 0.3092?(2)?Å]. The H atoms on these amine groups point inwards towards the aromatic ring, such that the lone pair of electrons points outwards from the mol-ecule. Each mol-ecule is linked to two others through N-H?N hydrogen bonds between the two amino groups, forming a one-dimensional chain in the [010] direction. Offset face-to-face ?-? stacking inter-actions between the pyrimidine rings organize these chains into a two-dimensional array [centroid-centroid distance = 3.789?(2)?Å].
