ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Sn(C(6)H(11))(3)(C(15)H(14)NO(2))], the Sn(IV) atom adopts a distorted tetra-hedral SnOC(3) arrangement. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings in the mefanamic acid mol-ecule is 82.16?(17)° and intra-molecular N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds help to establish the conformation. Two of the cyclo-hexyl rings are disordered over two sets of sites with equal occupancies.

The coordination geometry is distorted tetra-hedral, with Sn-C bond lengths in the range 2.133 (6)-2.188 (6) Å and with an Sn-S bond length of 2.4516 (19) Å. The nonbonded S atom of the piperidine-dithio-carboxyl-ate anion makes an Sn⋯S contact of 3.174 (3) Å.

Project description:In the title compound, [Sn(C(6)H(5))(3)(C(9)H(10)NO(2))], the Sn atom is coordinated by three phenyl groups and a carboxyl-ate anion in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. An intra-molecular C-H?O inter-action forms an S(7) ring motif. The dihedral angles between the benzoate group and the other three phenyl rings are 76.94?(8), 66.82?(8) and 42.34?(9)°. The crystal structure is further stabilized by inter-molecular C-H?? inter-actions.

The O atoms of one of the nitro groups are disordered over two sets of sites, with refined occupancies of 0.55?(4) and 0.45?(4). The closest inter-molecular inter-action is a weak C-H?O hydrogen bond.

Project description:In the title compound, C(15)H(17)N(3)O, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 58.05 (9)°. The non-H atoms of the hydrazide group lie in a common plane (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0006 Å) and are close to coplanar with their attached benzene ring [dihedral angle = 8.02 (9)°]. Project description:In the title diorganotin dicarboxyl-ate, [Sn(CH(3))(2)(C(17)H(17)N(2)O(3))(2)], the tin(IV) atom is six-coordinated by four O atoms derived from asymmetrically coordinating carboxyl-ate ligands, and two methyl-C atoms. The resulting C(2)O(4) donor set defines a skew-trapezoidal bipyramid with the Sn-C bonds disposed over the weaker Sn-O bonds. Within each carboxyl-ate ligand, the hydroxyl-H atom forms bifurcated O-H?(O,N) hydrogen bonds with carboxyl-ate-O and azo-N atoms. The dihedral angles between the benzene rings in the two ligands are 10.44?(11) and 34.24?(11)°. In the crystal, centrosymmetric dimers are formed through pairs of Sn?O inter-actions [2.8802?(16)?Å], and the dimers are linked into supra-molecular layers in the ac plane by C-H?? inter-actions.
