1,2-Bis(dimethyl-amino)-1,2-bis-(2,4,6-triisopropyl-phen-yl)diborane(4).

ABSTRACT: In the mol-ecular structure of the title compound, C(34)H(58)B(2)N(2), each B atom of the diborane(4) is connected to one dimethyl-amino group and one Tip ligand (Tip = 2,4,6-triisopropyl-phen-yl). These findings indicate that the increased steric demand of the Tip groups exerts influence solely on the B-B separation but not on the overall geometry of the title compound.
