Bis[bis-(2-methyl-phen-yl)phosphan-yl]methane.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(29)H(30)P(2), the dihedral angles between the two substituted benzene rings to the same P atom are 88.39?(7) and 83.88?(9)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are arranged into columns and stacked down the b axis. Weak inter-molecular C-H?? inter-actions stabilize the crystal structure.
