ABSTRACT: The title compound, [Ni(C(15)H(24)NSi)(2)], is a homoleptic metal-?(3)-aza-allyl centrosymmetric complex containing two aza-allyl ligands bound in an ?(3)-manner to an Ni(II) atom located on a center of symmetry. The overall coordination about the Ni(II) atom is square-planar. The C and N atoms of the aza-allyl group are sp(2)-hybridized. The uneven Ni-C and Ni-N distances [2.045?(5)/2.060?(6) and 1.916?(5)?Å] are influenced by a steric hindering effect from the nearby benzene ring.

The title compound, [Ni(C(15)H(24)NSi)(2)], is a homoleptic metal-η(3)-aza-allyl centrosymmetric complex containing two aza-allyl ligands bound in an η(3)-manner to an Ni(II) atom located on a center of symmetry. Project description:The green title complex, [Co(2)(CH(3))(2)(C(12)H(21)N(2)Si)(2)], was obtained from bis-{[μ-N-tert-butyl-dimethyl-silyl-N-(pyridin-2-ylmeth-yl)amido]-chloridocobalt(II)} and methyl-lithium in diethyl ether at 195 K via a metathesis reaction. The dimeric cobalt(II) complex exhibits a crystallographic center of inversion in the middle of the Co(2)N(2) ring (average Co-N = 2.050 Å). The Co(II) atom shows a distorted tetra-hedral coordination sphere. The exocyclic Co-N bond length to the pyridyl group shows a similar value of 2.045 (4) Å. The exocyclic methyl group has a rather long Co-C bond length of 2.019 (5) Å.

Project description:The title salt, [Ni(C(16)H(32)N(4))](C(20)H(26)O(2)PS(2))(2), comprises a centrosymmetric [Ni(Me(6)[14]dieneN(4))](2+) dication (Me(6)[14]dieneN(4) is 5,7,7,12,14,14-hexa-methyl-1,4,8,11-tetra-aza-cyclo-tetra-deca-4,11-diene) and two O,O'-bis-(4-tert-butyl-phen-yl) dithio-phosphate anions. The Ni(II) ion lies on an inversion centre and displays a slightly distorted NiN(4) square-planar chelation arrangement with four N atoms from the Me(6)[14]dieneN(4) macrocycle. Two S atoms from symmetry-related anions are located in pseudo-axial positions with respect to the Ni(II) ion, with Ni?S distances of 3.2991?(7)?Å. Inter-molecular N-H?S and C-H?S hydrogen bonds link the complex cation and pair of anions into a 1:2 type salt.

Project description:The title centrosymmetric mol-ecule, C(46)H(42)Si(2), is composed of a central benzene ring with buta-1,3-diynyl chains at positions 1 and 4. These chains are terminated by tert-butyl-diphenyl-silyl groups, hence the molecule is dumbbell in shape. The mol-ecules are connected via C-H⋯π inter-actions in the structure, so forming an undulating two-dimensional network in the bc plane. There is also a weak π-π inter-action involving centrosymmetrically related phenyl rings with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.8359 (11) Å.

The title complex, [RuCl(2)(C(30)H(43)N(3)OSi)(C(2)H(6)OS)]·2CH(2)Cl(2), crystallizes as a dichloro-methane disolvate, with two formula units in the asymmetric unit. The complex exhibits a distorted-octa-hedral geometry about the low spin d(6) Ru(II) center. The BPPA-TMS ligand is coordinated in a facial fashion, with the DMSO ligand cis to the aliphatic nitro-gen atom of the BPPA-TMS ligand. One of the two dichloromethane solvate molecules is disordered over two positions in a 0.695:0.305 ratio.

Project description:In the centrosymmetric title compound, C(64)H(62)N(4), the two phenyl-ethynyl groups lie at diagonal meso positions. The 24-membered porphyrin has in-plane distortion with respect to the mean plane of the macrocycle and two intra-ring bifurcated N-H?(N,N) hydrogen bonds occur. The dihedral angles between the phenyl rings in the phenyl-ethynyl group and the 3,5-bis-(tert-but-yl)phenyl group with respect to the mean plane of the porphyrin are 17.2?(2) and 59.2?(3)°. The tert-butyl groups are disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.661?(13):0.339?(13) ratio.

C-H?? inter-actions are observed in the crystal structure. Mol-ecules are linked into screw chains along the b axis by weak C-H?O inter-actions. Weak intramolecular C-H?O hydrogen bonds are also present.

Project description:The title compound, [Ni(C(17)H(11)ClN)Cl(C(3)H(9)P)(2)], was obtained as a product of the reaction of [Ni(PMe(3))(4)] with a molar equivalent of 2,6-dichloro-N-naphthyl-benzaldehyde-amine in diethyl ether. The ? parameter is 0.3, indicating that the coordination geometry is square-pyramidal. The Ni(II) atom lies in the center of a square pyramidal in which one C, one Cl and two P atoms form the basal plane, with the imine N atom in an apical position. Two P-atom donors are located in trans positions.
