ABSTRACT: In the title co-crystal, [Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(7)H(6)ClO)][Fe(C(5)H(5))(C(7)H(7)O)], both substituted ferrocene mol-ecules show the expected sandwich structure. The crystal packing exhibits weak inter-molecular Cl?Cl contacts of 3.279?(4)?Å, ?-? inter-actions between the substituted Cp rings of two neighbouring 2-chloro-1-ferrocenyl-ethanone mol-ecules [centroid-centroid distance = 3.534?(3)?Å], and weak inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds.
