Tetra-?-acetato-?O:O'-bis-{[N-(4-methyl-phen-yl)pyridin-2-amine-?N]copper(II)}(Cu-Cu).

ABSTRACT: The complete dinuclear mol-ecule of the title complex, [Cu(2)(CH(3)COO)(4)(C(12)H(12)N(2))(2)], is generated by a centre of inversion. The Cu(II) atoms are connected [Cu-Cu = 2.6329?(16)?Å] and bridged by four acetate ligands. The distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry is completed by a terminal pyridine N atom. The amine H atom forms an intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond.
