ABSTRACT: Renal artery embolism (RAE) is an uncommon event that is associated with a high rate of renal loss. We present a case of RAE to a solitary kidney that was treated with combined percutaneous rheolytic thrombectomy, intra-arterial thrombolysis, and supplemental renal artery stent placement.
