2-[4,5-Diphenyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-imidazol-1-yl]-3-phenyl-propan-1-ol.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(29)H(25)N(3)O, the central imidazole ring forms dihedral angles of 64.7?(3), 33.5?(3) and 81.2?(2)° with the pyridyl and two phenyl substituents, respectively. An intra-molecular C-H?N hydrogen bond is observed. In the crystal, O-H?N and C-H?O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains parallel to the a axis.
