ABSTRACT: The dinuclear title complex, [Ag2(C6H7N2S)2(C18H15P)2], comprises two inversion-related [Ag(C6H7N2S)(C18H15P)] units. The pyrimidine-thiol-ate anion acts both as a bridging and a chelating ligand. The Ag(I) ions are linked via two ?2-S donor atoms, which generate a strictly planar Ag2S2 core with an Ag?Ag separation of 2.9569?(4)?Å. The Ag(I) ion presents a distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry. In the crystal, weak C-H?N and C-H?S hydrogen bonds link the complex mol-ecules into a two-dimensional network parallel to (010).

In each, the Sn(IV) cation is coordinated by two methyl and two 4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidine-2-thiol-ate anions in a distorted SnS(2)C(2) tetra-hedral geometry. In the two mol-ecules, the S-Sn-S bond angles are 87.70 (5) and 88.93 (4)°, while the C-Sn-C bond angles are 125.7 (3) and 125.9 (2)°. Weak C-H⋯N hydrogen bonding is present in the crystal structure.

Project description:In the mononuclear title complex, [CuI(C(6)H(8)N(2)S)(C(18)H(15)P)(2)], the Cu(I) ion is in a slightly distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry formed by two P atoms from two triphenyl-phosphane ligands, one S atom from a 4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidine-2(1H)-thione ligand and one iodide ion. There is an intra-molecular N-H?I hydrogen bond. In the crystal, ?-? stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.594?(1)?Å] are observed.

Project description:The title compound, [CoH(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)], was synthesized by the reaction of chloridotris(triphenyl-phosphane)cobalt(I), [ClCo(PPh(3))(3)], in the presence of one equivalent potassium hydridotris(pyrazol-yl)borate in dimethyl sulfoxide. The structure displays a distorted trigonal-pyramidally coordinated cobalt(I) atom, with two phosphane ligands and one DMSO ligand in the equatorial plane. The coordination is completed by one further DMSO ligand and the anionic hydride in the axial positions.

Project description:The polymeric structure of the title compound, {[Ca2(C6H2N2O4)2(H2O)6]·2H2O} n , is built up of mol-ecular layers composed of Ca(II) ions bridged by both ligand N and O atoms with one of the O atoms being bis-monodentate. Two adjacent Ca(II) ions are bridged by these O atoms, forming a centrosymmetric dimer which is the building unit of the structure. The dimers are nodes of a cross-linked mol-ecular layer parallel to (101). The Ca(II) ion is coordinated by two bidentate ligands, one monodentate ligand and three water mol-ecules in the form of a distorted polyhedron with a coordination number of eight. Project description:The title compound, [Pd(C(6)H(4)N(2)S(2))(C(18)H(15)P)(2)], was obtained as a minor product from the reaction of trans-PdCl(2)(PPh(3))(2) with piperazine-1,4-dicarbothioic acid bis-(pyridin-2-yl)amide. The Pd(II) atom displays a slightly distorted square-planar PdP(2)S(2) geometry with a bidentately coordinated pyridin-2-ylcarbonimidodithio-ate ligand and two triphenyl-phosphine mol-ecules, coordinated in cis positions. The central Ag(I) ion is coordinated by two different N atoms in the aromatic rings of the ligands, with an N-Ag-N angle of 173.9?(2)°. The crystal structure is composed of two complexed cations and stabilized by an inter-molecular N-H?O and N-H?N hydrogen-bond network and there is ?-? stacking of the aromatic rings [inter-planar distance 3.651?(10)?Å].
