Crouch gait is one of the most troublesome abnormal gait patterns in ambulant patients with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy (CP). Although CP is a non-progressive condition, crouch gait can result in knee extensor disruption (KED) causing deterioration or cessation of ambulation.
